The goal of youth services is to offer young people a variety of leisure activities, different hobbies, and opportunities to implement their own ideas, projects, and events.
Youth services promote the participation and influence of children and young people throughout the municipality and give young people the opportunity to express their opinions, influence common issues, and participate in building an environment of their own choosing.

Youth facilities and moped workshop
The youth centre, or “Nuokkar”, is intended for 3rd graders to 17-year-olds. A small snack is offered daily. Nuokkar’s goal is to provide young people with a pleasant place to spend their free time by themselves or with a friend. There is an opportunity for a variety of activities, such as playing games, doing crafts, throwing darts, playing billiards or even cooking. Nuokkar also organizes various supervised activities. Nuokkar always has an adult instructor on site. See opening hours below.

Outreach youth work
The youth services of the city of Kankaanpää have two outreach youth workers, Noora and Mikaela.
The search area includes Kankaanpää, Jämijärvi, Honkajoki, Pomarkku, Siikainen and Karvia.
Outreach youth work is a special youth work that aims to reach young people under the age of 29 who are:
outside education or employment or need support to access the services they need.
Outreach youth work offers young people early support if they want it and strengthens their readiness to reach
The service is voluntary for the young person.
Outreach youth work is present among young people and offers opportunities for safe and confidential
adult contact. It seeks solutions to the young person's problems and questions with the young person and supports the young person in seeking
to the services he needs and wants.

Karvia Youth Council
The Karvia Youth Council gives young people the opportunity to influence the affairs of their municipality. In the council, Karvia residents aged 13–25 present their perspectives, ideas and wishes directly to decision-makers.
The Youth Council provides access to:
- to represent the perspective of young people and advocate for young people
- to take a stand on current issues
- to organize events and campaigns
