Culture

Cultural services in Karvia

The task of the cultural department is to support and develop the municipality's cultural and local history work and to be responsible for the management of the local history museum and the open-air museum area. In addition to the cultural department, the municipality's active cultural life in the form of various events is maintained by several hobby groups, which provide experiences for the municipality's residents all year round.

Everyone can find an inspiring way to express themselves among the hobby opportunities. You can join a choir, poetry circle, theater group, orchestra or tanhu group. With new ideas or wishes, it is also worth approaching the youth and culture coordinator and making your own hobby dream come true.
