Technical administration is responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing the following functions:
- Street maintenance, private road matters
- Beaches and parks
- Real estate, land and forest properties
- Water and sewerage system
- Waste disposal
- Support services (cleaning and kitchen services)

Maintenance and basic improvements of private roads in Karvia
Application for assistance for maintenance work in 2025 by April 15, 2026.
Private road maintenance grants
Eligibility conditions:
- The length of the assisted private road must be at least 250 m to a permanent residence (with a permanently inhabited household)
refers to the building that is the resident's residence during the grant application period) - The road is passable by car.

Private road improvement grants
Eligibility conditions:
- The length of the assisted private road must be at least 250 m to a permanent residence (with a permanently inhabited household)
refers to the building that is the resident's residence during the grant application period) - The road is passable by car.
- A road authority has been established for the road.

Waste recycling in Karvia
You can return it to the waste station's recycling point (Kiviluomaantie 33).

The recycling center is open Mon-Thu 8 am-16 pm, Fri 8 am-14 pm.

Cultural Center Skantzi recycling point in Kant (Karviantie 720) is available to everyone, you can return it there
